About

My Specialties

I work with a broad range of clients with a wide variety of challenges and goals. Each client is unique, and it's my personal mission to create an environment where patients feel welcomed, seen, and celebrated.

With that, there are some themes in my experience and expertise which provide a unique lens for some of my patient's challenges.

01.

I have deep expertise working with patients with a variety of mental health areas, from substance abuse to depression, anxiety, and mood disorders.

I worked as a Therapist in a mental health and rehabilitation facility, giving me an understanding of the clinical side of mental health challenges, while offering clients compassion and respect as they grow.

02.

With a background in medical social work in a hospital setting, I can help clients navigate emotions around complex medical situations or diagnoses.

From integrating new routines post-diagnosis to processing medical experiences, I can offer a safe, non-judgemental environment to explore.

03.

I support patients experiencing grief, loss, infertility, medical complications in pregnancy and postpartum, postpartum depression, hyperlactation and more.

I partner with my patients to navigate the complex journey into parenthood, while offering deep support.

03.

My background also extends into elder care, allowing me to support patients as they face some of the challenges that come with aging.

Together I set goals with my patients, allowing them to go at their own pace, while supporting them towards the positive change they desire.

What to Expect

My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, seen, and accepted. My patients can expect our sessions to be a safe place to explore and go at their own pace while moving towards positive change.

My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, interpersonal therapy, and humanistic therapy. The core tools I bring to the table are an unending sense of acceptance and a strong commitment to my patients.

In our first session, my primary focus is creating an environment where you feel supported and safe. I want to understand your unique challenges, life experiences, current concerns and goals for therapy. We'll work collaboratively in our sessions to support you in those goals.

My Education & Experience

California State University, Fullerton | Graduated with Honors

Canyon Ridge is a behavioral health facility providing inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment for adolescents, adults, and seniors. My role there was as a staff Therapist.

Kindred Hospital is a long-term acute care hospital specializing in the treatment of medically complex patients who require extended recovery time and specialized care. My role there was to provide medical social work support to patients undergoing care, as well as acting as a lead on the Social Work team.
